Got an email from the woman who runs media for all those fests saying that now because of the massive intake of media requests for ROTR, for "safety cautions" theyre cutting the media list down to major outlets only. Fucking bullshit but oh well. She offered passes to Carolina Rebellion to compensate, which is still better than nothing. But still, kinda unprofessional to handle it this way.

It still has most of the main bands i personally wanted to see, such as Soundgarden, coheed, gojira, amon amarth, Dillinger, Every time i die. Plus it gets Mastodon and Opeth as well. I'm not even bummed about the lack of metallica, i'm more bummed by the lack of thrice, deafheaven, turnstile and red fang.
