@Gazorpazorpfield im getting a free ticket to white denim on tuesday
I don't know if you're in to jam bands but they rock live. Haven't seen them since the guitar player and drummer left but the vocalist/guitar player is the star of the show. Plus chubby mclovin is still on bass.
I saw they were basically playing the new album in full with some old songs in their home state Texas shows but it looks like they're playing a more balanced set now. They started out with a garage rock sound and moved on to a good ol southern blues rock/jam later on. This is the song I heard the first time I saw the open for Tame Impala that got me hooked. https://youtu.be/VW26TBF1boo
if it werent so close to terrorfest and sabbath id just say fuck it and get a weekend pass. but im not spending $1000 to see electric wizard, the cosmic dead, zombi, and a shitload of bands ive seen before.
I'd spend way too much on merch, obviously. Would eat as cheap as i could. But yeah, There's like 30 bands i've never seen that i really want to see.
You'll have a better chance at seeing most of them later on since you're west coast. The only bands playing that have visited east coast in the last couple years (not counting MDF) are Down, High On Fire, Tribulation, and Sleep (only FL date ever, tho)
I'm really banking on none of you hating me so much you reproduce my tickets and try to sell them. I mean I don't see myself being kept out of a white denim show but if so, that'll suck.
