I guess I'm not going to Strung Out, a friend of ours named John, is now the vocalist for death metal band Resurrection, they're playing a show with Contorted, Ebullution, Druid Lord and Ulcer.
I want to see Down so bad, but it's fucking $30 a ticket + $8 "convenience fee" + $6 service fee. $44 a ticket, no thnx not worth it. Fucking hatebreed was even $30 after all the fee bullshit. I almost said fuck it, but a bunch of my friends are going so I got tix. Still bullshit. I like $10-$20 shows cash, no fees.

Insomnium is the only big reason I'd want to go to that show, but my friend might want to see Alestorm. They're about the same distance too. I don't know who support for Sacred Reich is yet.
Also worth noting that I dislike Epica, so I wouldn't really care about their set. I'm very picky on female-fronted/heavily vocally supported metal bands, with Royal Thunder and Kylesa being two of the very few exceptions.
I'm not a fan of Epica either. I'll probably try to leave early even though I have like 4 friends going but I think only one likes Epica and the rest of us are going for Insomnium.

Oh and he will be playing this on the 28th...
Which one? We'll be able to get tickets to both I'd imagine, but it'll probably be easier for Epica.
