I don't see how this is something redeemable. Just blindly claiming whatever you say to be true is not a positive attribute. If you can justify it though, then that's redeemable.

But don't you fucking say that his death is tragic, because his desire for pleasure negatively affected his son's future. I'm not saying it changes him as a person, there should be pity, not mourning for his death.
