"I feel like a horrible person... but I had to turn that press conference off because I caught myself bored and doing something else at the same time "
Don't feel bad. I hate this belief that we all have to act like we were affected. If you were affected (that includes in a negative light), say so, but if you weren't affected, then it doesn't matter.
I never liked much of anything that Dio did musically but at the same time I fully understand what he means to the metal world. I was sad when Dio died last week of cancer and I have nothing bad to say about the man himself.
I do think people should keep their negative comments to themselves right now though. Its still a very sensitive time for the people who loved that band.
There is a time and place for the negative comments and this really isn't it. At least have some respect for your fellow board members.

I'm glad they were all there.

No. It doesn't.
"Nobody said you have to act like you were affected."
It's heavily implied, because if I said I don't care in the beginning of this thread, people would have gone "well that's not right."
I don't feel affected, because I don't like his music. It's a shame a person died, but beyond that, it's no different than any other person.

Of course this is just my opinion.
