apparently Powerglove is currently preparing for a longer set and is rehearsing fucking omnishred. i may just go to this now if the venue drops the price, which they really need to. 27.50 is way too high without nevermore and soilwork
Powerglove better get a longer set.
And now I feel kind of cheated. I paid to see 5 bands, not 3. Oh well, I've been watiting 4 years to see Powerglove, so I guess it's not all that bad, but it still fucking sucks.
I want to see Wretched, 3IOB, Lazarus AD, Skeletonwitch, JFaC, Times of Grace, BTBAM, and Hatebreed.
I've got Skeletonwitch and 3IOB tomorrow Wretched and Son of Aurelius are playing 45 minutes away, but that i also tomorrow...Sucks because I REALLY wanted to see both. I'd like to make it to Terror and Trapped Under Ice on 4/20, but probably won't. Between the Buried and Me/The Ocean/JFAC/Cephalic Carnage on the 22nd. Hatebreed on Mayhem
Winds of Plague just played here on Saturday....but they were with Miss May I, Asking Alexandria, Emure, Oceano and countless other shitty bands on this gather of the scenies festival we have here.
Hard partying (and harder rocking) Finnish band CHILDREN OF BODOM (or COB) has announced a North American headlining tour in support of their new album Relentless Reckless Forever which landed at #41 on the Billboard Top 200 in its first week of release. Brought to you by Guitar World and Revolver, the North American leg of CHILDREN OF BODOM's "Ugly World Tour" will kick off in Los Angeles on June 24 and run through July 24 in Montreal where COB will perform alongside KISS, Motörhead and more as part of the "Heavy MTL" hard rock festival.
"We are psyched to see all of our friends in North America and to play our new songs live for all of the Bodom maniacs," commented COB guitarist / vocalist Alexi "Wildchild" Laiho. "Get ready to throw it down!" Support on the CHILDREN OF BODOM tour will come from Devin Townsend with openers Obscura and Septicflesh rotating positions each night.
