From what Brian and George have said, and it definitely makes sense, they are deathcore. Not whitechapel, JFAC, deathcore but literal death/core.
I never said this, I said DF is what I wish deathcore was, DF is a technical deathmetal band with great guitar and drum work and that impliments hardcore style breakdowns in key mometns of their albums, same with Thre Red Chord, and Suffocation. all deathcore is to me is constant breakdowns oever and over again with a heavy singer. DF is not that. I wish all deathcore was like DF, but too bad theyre not.

every band breaks it down and plays either slower or faster riffs to interlude a song, every single band in the world does it. the fucking beatles do it, its not the smae style, but ever bands breaks it down in their songs. dude, if you listened to any of the shit i posted of DF, you wouldnt say theyre deathcore. my opinion of deathcore is nonstop breakdowns most of the album. dying fetus is nothing like that. theyre a tech death band. you used to be so much better at trolling. you FAIL

metal archives lists them as grindcore, so the cores still there i just got the first part wrong. also reading some of these reviews of their albums is pretty funny, they got some solid hate going
