except not at all..1-3 were great and so was 6, but yeah the rest were pretty average

Saw - awesome, Saw 2 - sucked, Saw 3 - awesome, Saw 4 - pretty good, Saw 5 - good, Saw 6 - alright, Saw 7 - huh? still ok though. but they started dropping the ball with 6 and 7. some of those death scenarios were not that well thought out. like when that guy shoved those hooks into his chest to lift himself up with the chain. there were a few ways to handle that without inflicting harm to himself. he could've put the hooks behind his knees or under his arm pits and would've still been able to pull himself up without impaling himself.
and Saw was nothing like Seven. in Seven some dude murdered people who represented one of the seven deadly sins. in Saw a guy set up elaborate death traps as a fucked up way to try and change people for the better. he didn't actually do any "killing" (i use that loosely because he obviously was responsible). he just put people in a life or death situation where they had to inflict some sort of bodily harm to themselves to survive. that's not how it happened in seven. the dude straight up killed people and they didn't have any say in the matter
