I was looking at Django on IMDB and thought you guys might find this stuff interesting:
The scene in which Leonardo DiCaprio's character smashes his hand on the table was done with such force that his hand actually began to bleed. DiCaprio ignored it and continued with the scene. This take was the one used in the film.
Director Quentin Tarantino revealed at Comic-Con that Jamie Foxx and Kerry Washington's Characters are meant to be the great great great grandparents of the character John Shaft from the Shaft movies. An overt reference to this connection can be found in Kerry Washington's character's full name: Broomhilda Von Shaft.
^the second one sort of explains why the movie went full blown blaxploitation in the last 20 minutes
Django was pretty good. However the last half hour/45 minutes dragged out waaay to long. I feel like they couldve ended the movie several times in that span.
Definitely agree. Honestly thought it was going to end about 30 mins before it did.
I actually liked that about it. You thought it was gonna end and then it's like "nah nigga he gonna go do it now, you ain't missin shit"
TUPAC IS DEAD/THE LEGEND IS GONE/THEY SAYIN TUPAC'S BACK?/DEM NIGGAS WRONG
I watched 3/4 of Dazed and Confused on tv last night It had a good rating on IMDB and a great soundtrack but it was shit It came out in 1993 and some of the actors looked so young and funny. Does "hazing" still happen much?
I dunno, I went into the movie hearing nothing but good things beforehand and came out disappointed. The only thing that really entertained me was Ben Affleck's character.
creature (2011), rites of spring, the pact, slither, pig hunt, night of the demons (2009), madison county, atm, shark night, the pack, my bloody valentine (1981), dead snow
