Paramount Pictures has rearranged its upcoming schedule, setting the Platinum Dunes reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for Christmas Day, 2013.
Still without a confirmed director, it was recently hinted that Wrath of the Titans' Jonathan Liebesman would potentially helm.
Previously, Iron Man writers Art Marcum and Matt Holloway were assigned to draft the project with Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol's Josh Appelbaum and Andrew Nemec taking over last year. It is still unknown whether they performed a page one rewrite or if they updated the Marcum and Holloway draft.
Leprechaun is being rebooted! But could the gold he's after now be…WWE championship gold?
According to Variety, the WWE and Lionsgate have come together for a two-picture deal, with one of the films being a remake/remodel of the schlocky 1993 Warwick Davis/Jennifer Aniston horror flick, Leprechaun.
Lionsgate and the WWE will co-market, and split the cost of, the new Leprechaun film, which is set for a 2013 release. The other movie, from the two-movie deal, is yet to be determined. This doesn't mark the first time that Lionsgate and the WWE have teamed up as they also partnered to make See No Evil (starring Kane) and The Condemned (starring Steve Austin).
So, just to ask the obvious here: Hornswoggle has to be at least considered for this movie, right? He can talk now and everything!

Tim Burton sucks and is overrated. If I have to hear about one more of his movies starting his wife or johny depp with a shitty danny elfman soundtrack, I'll kill myself.
