I don't necessarily agree with this. Everyone perceives him that way now, it's not his fault. Depp's best roles have also been the strangest.......he was great in Sweeney Todd.

I hated Sweeney Todd but I couldn't help laugh when the kid got sentenced to death for his crimes and everytime they showed him dumping a body to the basement

I hate EVERYTHING Tim Burton except Nightmare Before Christmas. Everything has the same group of actors in it, with the same shitty Danny Elfman soundtrack, and dark-but-quirky tone.

Johnny Depp has failed lately in his roles. The movie was too long, boring, and just never really went anywhere. It had one or two funny parts, but overall it was really bad.

I thought it was good as a semi documentary of hunter. I imagine he acted a lot like that, depp is the only person who could play him.
I hate Tim Burton anymore, other than batman and big fish was ok
