they're pretty ridiculous movies, but most horrors are. i'm always just like "fuck, dude. do you ever watch the tapes? nigga just burned up your ouija board" or "can someone turn a light on?". i preferred 'insidious'
Insidious was cool. I liked their concept but hated how it ended
I have yet to watch it since everyone says it's so scary. And I fucking hate that red faced SOB. That kind of shit scares me more than anything.
I thought he looked cartoonish. Didn't find him scary but I don't find a lot of things in horror movies scary. I have found some things that are creepy but that's about it. If you want to get scared to to a place like Waverly Hills, WV State Pen, or similar places at night by yourself or with one other person )
i usually like the vibe and atmosphere james wan creates, that blueish greenish greyish look lol but i'd like to see him step away from that and try a different look/atmosphere. he's a good director though. him and his writers took an aweful idea and made it into a pretty good movie. and im talking about dead silence. that idea is laughable especially the big twist at the end but they made it work somehow lol.

I enjoyed that movie. It was different and made me hate dummies even more then I used to. I hate toys that give the illusion of their eyes following you..same goes for portraits

they did psychological studies that showed that green is the most disturbing color to the human mind. a lot of horror directors kinda ran with it, especially the asians
after about an hour of searching i finally found a site that would let me watch the movie 'Creature' for free. it wasn't that bad, i liked it. im surprised it got such a horrible review on bloody-disgusting.com because its really a classic tale of love, incest, bestiality, cannibalism, a gigantic man-eating monster, and family bonding )
Sid Haig is in it too.
