ive been drinking like crazy the past few months and im trying to quit. i keep having shakes and anxiety. should i be scared? has anyone else been though this? any advice? please dont mock me, you guys are all that i can ask right now

You could try not being an alcoholic, then you wouldn't have withdrawals from lack of alcohol.

to be honest ive never drank excessivley so im not sure what to do but its obv you should stop
if you really feel like you need to go to a doctor have someone drive you to the hospital

i dont wanna drink like this, i had problems with drinkin since my teens, i was doing real good, but i broke my leg 2 months ago and i started abck up again, but i wanna quit for good now, but im afraid im gonna have an alcoholic seizure or dt's or something. its never been this bad before

Have you ever smoked weed before? Depending how marijuana effects you that could help you mellow out a bit when you are feeling withdrawals.

if you're just hungover from yesterday... then the shakes are nothing to worry about.

If you havent drank in a while; and are still shaking... then you better get yourself checked out... it could be Hypertension. or High blood pressure from all the drinking.

Not bashing this cause Erik said it, but AA is one of the worst ways to quit. They pretty much tell you that you need Jesus in your life before you can quit.

Good luck dude. I've seen people detox from alcohol before and it isn't pretty. If it gets too bad try to find a place rehab place that will help you detox. A lot of them won't take you if you are still going through withdrawals.

Been taking any painkillers for that leg? PK's and alcohol don't always play well together.
