I dont like them because they are generic, bland, and use gimmicks to try and hide the fact that their music is shit. I like my music to have a little more complexity and substance. I like it to be original and not just another boring copy of the bland MTV generation.

It has nothing to do with Slipknot being on MTV, but has to do more with how they are a band because MTV pushed them on teens suffering from teen angst or some other bullshit. The music is generic and dull. But I know... Lets put on stupid masks and then people wont realize how boring we are.

I already said that Slipknot isnt as bad as some bands (like Disturbed or Limp Bizkit, or Korn to name a few)... But that doesnt make them a good band

Don't worry I wont try and have a conversation with you about the unique time signature Tool uses on Lateralus from switching from 9/8 to 8/8 to 7/8 and how that parallels the lyrical composition. I wont try discussing how revolutionary Chuck Schuldiner and how his guitar playing pretty much changed the entire face of music. Nope... dont worry. I get you like generic bland music. Im fine with that.
