The Rangers have offered Joey Gallo, Jurickson Profar and 2 pitching prospects so far. I think if the Dodgers package up Puig and Joc Peterson with some decent pitching prospects like Jose DeLeon, they would have the best chance. They've been angling to make a big splash lately because they have a really deep farm system and it looks like Clayton Kershaw is out for the rest of the year now. They also have the ability to eat a shitty contract or 2
Obviously he's a guy you'd want on your team because of his numbers but refusing to wear a throwback jersey? That's just retarded. Doesn't seem like the kinda guy you'd want in your clubhouse. Maybe there's more to the story but after everything I heard, I lost a lot of respect for Chris Sale. You make how much money per season and you can't put on a T-shirt for a few hours? That's pathetic. Then again, he's a strikeout pitcher who only plays every 5 days so he doesn't really need a lot of teamwork. I'll be happy as long as he stays out of the AL East.
Apparently, it didn't fit right and they couldn't find one that did so he went in the clubhouse and started cutting them up. Sounds like he's got anger issues
He's a great pitcher. But being in the same division his whole career I can tell you he's always kind of been a whiny little bitch with an attitude that he's above his teammates. Great pitcher with a shitty attitude. I'll be happy to se him leave the division though.
I have no insight into what Sale is like, but I'll take a loss every now and then vs a good pitcher if he totally nukes the locker room. Guys like Puig have done that for the Dodgers all his career.

I'd be pissed if I was an ace on a shitty team but the White Sox aren't that bad anymore. Maybe he's just sick of the White Sox. Or he could be clubhouse cancer. Either way, it'll be interesting to see where he lands if they do decide to trade him. This could just be another over-hyped story by the media doe. He's still one of the best pitchers in the game and teams don't typically trade away their ace after one little incident.
Remember when the White Sox were hot earlier in the year and I said it was unsustainable? Hmm. Anyway, they could rebuild really quickly by shipping off any or all of Sale, Quintana, and Frazier.
Not sure how I feel about this. The dude's got a lot of potential but our top prospect is a shortstop and I think he's also at the Class A level so unless they're gonna turn one of em' into a 2B, kind of a stupid trade in my opinion. I read that there might be another prospect thrown in so we'll see what happens. I wanted Schwarber doe.
2 years of Miller for Schwarber straight up would be a decent trade. He does have the best numbers out of the 3 and the Cubs are doing just fine without Schwarber.
