White Sox were my team since the they were my first T-ball team. Kind of fell off baseball once I stopped playing but 05 was p dope, I can still name off the team minus the bullpen lol but like I said I fell off and would check the standings throughout the season and them watch whoever was in the playoffs. I know the sox were I'm a downward slope lately so wtf happened? I know Sale was dat nigga but the whole pitching game is #crushingit. I'm not gonna Ed the fuck out and go super fan boy because I clearly don't know shit, I just thought it was neat.
On the real doe, I'm not quite sure. They looked good on paper last year but I think they finished below .500 if I remember correctly. The addition of Todd Frazier definitely helps and Abreu is lookin like he did back in 2014. I guess Robin Ventura figured out how to manage? I don't watch a lot of White Sox games.
If the Royals can win in spite of Yost, the White Sox can win in spite of Ventura. I haven't seen them play but their lineup was suspect at best before the season. Doesn't seem sustainable to me.
They had an ace, a pretty good #2 starter, one of the best closers in the game and a pretty solid offense with Abreu, LaRoche, and melky Cabrera. I'm not saying they were a WS caliber team but they had plenty of pieces to be competitive. Im not that surprised they're doing well now. It's more surprising to me that they sucked last season.
Although LaRoche only produced for the first few months. I remember cuz he was on my fantasy team and he started out really well. Then I dropped him when his average fell below .200
Not in 2015. He was doing fine the first few months last season and he was coming off a really good season in 2014. Also Cabrera was putting up MVP-like numbers before the PED scandal.
So they did better than you last year, continue to be better than you this year, and you don't see their lineup as sustainable? I don't know how you can stay overly optimistic about the Tigers year after year and shit on others teams when they're doing better than your's.
You're pretty defensive over a team you don't watch and isn't yours. I like the Tigers lineup better than the White Sox and I think the Sox rotation other than Sale is trash. I think the Royals and Indians have better teams than the White Sox. The White Sox were not good last year and I don't see what they did over the offseason improving them enough to stay atop the division. How my team performs has no bearing over my ability to judge other teams.
I'm not defending the White Sox and I don't really watch em' that often but I know how a lot of their players did last season cuz a few of em were on my fantasy team and most of em preformed pretty well. Plus they're first in their division right now and they finished better than you last year. Ever since 2015, White Sox>Tigers.
Bruh, my team is in dead last right now. At least I can admit my team sucks. Just get used to not being the best team in your division anymore. It's tough at first but you'll get through it.
We just haven't been hitting great. Cabrera is a warm weather player. When it heats up we will be fine. 6 games back isn't really a big deal 1 month in when we haven't even played the white sox.
The discussion was about the White Sox. I never said anything about the Tigers other than I like our lineup better. Again, how good my team is has no bearing on my ability to judge other teams.

Goddamnit. Our pitching is so fucked.
Also Bartolo Colon hit his first home run at 42 ))

But the Tigers are the better team right?
