well they have the best hitter in the game, and even if you don't count verlander two of the best starting arms in the AL
mix that in with castelanos getting better, Cespedes bat plus really good defense. plus V-mart isn't gone for the year. I think they will be fine. They also have the best GM in sports. He won't let this team be bad.
sure he hasn't been great, but he was coming off of core surgery last year. His walk numbers were still low along with his HR numbers. He will be fine this year.
As far as the bullpen goes, they are much better just by not having coke this year. Rondon is coming back, Nathan had a better year than what was led to believe, and soria is a very solid arm that had a rocky transition after the trade. The bullpen is better than what they were last year. Iglesias is also coming back.
They are still the team to beat in the central with the white sox gaining steam.
idk why im even having a baseball conversation with a paper fan anyways
A) He's still unsigned, and Not unless it's a 2 or 3-year deal. Ed acting like V-Mart will be out the whole year. Healthy Miggy and JV can hopefully keep them afloat for a while.
Dude has a better batting average, pretty much the same amount of RBI's and 10 more home runs. Plus he was a rookie last season. I'd take Abreu over Cabrera.
