Guarantee that one or more of the rotation has a disaster of a year, and by October it feels like it's not quite what we thought it was.

That's for sure.  I look forward to going to a few games this year.  At least now I know that I am guaranteed to get some good pitching.

I just hate the whole circlejerk that happens after every single free agency period.

According to NBC sports, they're planning on keeping Zimmerman. I'm gonna be pretty surprised if they don't make it to the NLCS at least.

Fister and Zimmermann are out the door after this season and they have Roark as a sixth starter who they really like. We'll see what happens.

Ky Scott Boras. Probably gonna get Austin Jackson a Robinson Cano-caliber contract next winter. Thank god Price isn't a Boras client, I want to keep him.

We don't need Shields right now. We can ride it out with what we've got and if we need a starter, Dombrowski has shown he can deal for one in July. Hell, could even get Fister back for cheap since he's going to the west coast after this season. )

who's gonna pitch? Verlander looks like a shell of his former self. we all know what that bullpen look like.
