I love how MLB on fox the announcers are talking up chris carpenter like he was a victim in the fight Tuesday. That piece of shit is the reason everything got ugly. MLB needs to quit sucking this guys dick. It is pathetic
You tryin to be a hero fool? You wanna see badass mother fucker?! I'll show ya a badass!!!
phillies won again, now 2 back from the braves and in the lead for the wildcard, i still think they'll win the division. i dislike the braves alot, cause they kicked our ass plenty of times over the years, but i hope chipper comes back and plays one more year, i dont want to see a hof player go out like that.

lets hope they can beat the giants now
I think that we'll get to the playoffs through either the wild card or the division, so I'll live either way. I'm surprised that the Padres are doing as well as they are though.

pitching has never been a problem with the Padres.... this year we're finally getting some bats back. (I never would have expected them to be doing this good though; record-wise)
The Dodgers are doing their usually autumn fade....and im still waiting for the Giants to start deflating.
Wild Card is going to be tough for the Giants... the Reds/Cards and Phillies/Braves are all there hoping to snatch it up as well.

That's the same story with the Giants. The pitching has been there for a few years, but the hitting has been lackluster. While the pitching is still damn good, the hitting has only slightly improved. I think if they got another consistent hitter, and Buster Posey keeps being an ace, they have some great times ahead. I want them to make the playoffs without having a steroid filled roster.

i would have hoped for a sweep... but 2 out 3 at least drops SF one more game behind the Padres
