Yeah cause I wanna take verlander out when he's pitching a gem in the 8th cause were only up by one with 2 outs man on second and it's his turn to bat 8-|
0...it's inevitable any ways...i really don't care cause my team already plays in the AL...but I'm just saying that they have been planning this for a while
It is but I have come to accept it as part of what makes baseball unique against other sports. Part of what draws me into baseball is the strategy which is why I usually don't find myself watching AL games. I think it works fine as is. But of course you have people like rex bitching because some dinosaur doesn't get to play in national league parks.
You tryin to be a hero fool? You wanna see badass mother fucker?! I'll show ya a badass!!!
There's no reason for Leyland to do that...he's been outspoken about issues such as replay before. He speaks his mind so to assume that he's just telling people what he wants to hear is silly. Managing in the NL is pretty simple because pitching moves are dictated by the situation. It's a pretty strict book to follow.

His whole point was that because the pitchers bat the whole decision iz already made for the manager when to take the pitcher out...where as in the American League he has to decide when the perfect time to yank him is...if nothing else it's more of a challenge as far as managing pitching staffs
