Im not usually one to call for rule changes but I almost feel like when I player gets blasted in the head like that play needs to stop. That dude advanced all the way to third on what really should have just been a single and I'd rather not have people chasing the ball down and throwing around the field while someone is laying on the ground with a possible very very serious injury.
They said he is in stable condition at the hospital. Nothing else has been released
The umpires have the capability to do that. I guess they just chose not to.
You'll have to search it. Adam rosalas hit a ball that hit a railing above the yellow line and bounced onto the field they called it a double. Reviewed it and still said it was a double. The home run would have tied the game in the 9th
You tryin to be a hero fool? You wanna see badass mother fucker?! I'll show ya a badass!!!
they were just talking on the radio about how the national league is likely going to adopt the dh next year because of all of the interleague play now. the vote is set for the winter meetings this coming december :-<
I guess you haven't been paying attention to the shift back to most of them thinking not having a dh is better. Anyway I vote to keep it how it is the different in the leagues is what makes baseball unique from other sports where they have different conferences but there really is nothing different about them. Its also sad that they would even consider making the entire sport habe the dh considering it was started as a gimmick.

It doesn't matter what you or I or anyone think is better, because it will happen. It's a fact. I said last year that it will be in place in the NL within 3 years and it looks like it could be earlier than that.
and as far as the dh starting off as a "gimmick", you could say the same about the 3 point line in basketball and 2 point conversions in football and those aren't going anywhere.
Who's this most of them? The only reason I see to keep it is because it's unique...but with them having inter league play all year I don't see it as fair...the tigers play the marlins the last series...what if they are in a pennant race....the team that's in the with them gets to use there full lineup and the tigers don't...that's not an even playing field
You are such a fucking baby about this Marlins thing. You're really bitching about playing the worst team in the NL as your final series? Really? You're an idiot. It Is fair it has always been fair you go to an nl park no dh you go to an al park have a dh both teams play by the same rules that day.
