what if it is a heavy down pour? the pitcher wouldn't be able to see what pitch to throw and the batter sure as hell can't see when the ball is coming. Plus the ball isn't like a football where it can be griped good in rain. The ball would slip a lot since it's smooth and shit. rain would fuck up the game.
