Doug Fister has 6-1 since he joined the Tigers and is 5-0 over his last six starts. Also allowed only four earned runs in his last 44 2-3 innings for an 0.81 ERA over that stretch.
Scherzer has been streaky, but when he's doing well, he's pretty good.
Oswalt is 5-1 in the postseason and won the NLCS MVP.
Lee has been untouchable. Since August he's 6-0, with an ERA under 1. Same goes with Worley he's 11-2 this season with an ERA just above 2.
Hamels was up for Cy Young discussion before his injury. He struggled of last, but looked good the other night and has an ERA under 2, and not to forget he's a WS and NLCS MVP.
Halladay's Halladay.
You guys should worry about the Yankees, Rangers, Angels, Red Sox, ect.... before you even think about the Phillies, cause our pitching has beet better then outstanding this year.
I couldn't care less about the NL right now. We're going to have to beat two really, really good teams to even get to that point. I'm hoping the Angels stay out of the playoffs, that three-headed monster at the front of their starting rotation scares me more than any other team in the AL.

The Chicago White Sox have accepted manager Ozzie Guillen's request to be released from his contract.
"We certainly cannot thank Ozzie enough for all he has done during his eight seasons as manager of the Chicago White Sox, highlighted by an unforgettable 2005 World Series championship," chairman Jerry Reinsdorf said in a statement. "I personally appreciate everything he has done for this organization, our fans and the city of Chicago. We shared the greatest moments together and wish him nothing but future success in baseball and in life."
Guillen will accept a managerial job with the Florida Marlins, according to a source close to the situation.
Guillen's contract was set to expire after the 2012 season. About a month ago he said he wouldn't return for the final year of his contract unless he gets an extension.
Should Guillen take a managerial job with a different organization in 2012, the White Sox retain the right to be compensated. In order to fulfill that right, the Marlins will send two minor leaguers to Chicago, the source said.
I will forever be a huge Ozzie fan. He was a huge reason for the Sox World Series Championship in 05'. The recent failures weren't all his fault, especially this year, but he has had a lot of underacheiving teams recently. That being said, I would still rather have him as the Sox manager and it will not be the same without him.

Congrats on the division.
