There are players who are injury-prone and were never on the juice. Innocent until proven guilty. Magglio has never been linked to steroids, and until he is, I believe he was clean. He's still a career .300 hitter with good power numbers when healthy, but because of circumstance and because he ditched your team, you hate him.
tl;dr, u mad. Maybe someday you will acknowledge the Tigers actually have a decent team and that's why they swept the Sox.
c'mon Jay take the blinders off. You have to be pretty naive to think that he wasn't on the juice especially during those years, which was the peak of Steroid usage and will forever be known as that.
Why would I have any ill will towards Magglio other than it's empty feeling knowing that he Sammy Sosa'd me? The Sox dumped him in 04' and then won the World Series in 05' without him. That doesn't even make any sense.
Time will tell whether the Tigers are decent or not. I will acknowledge it after the division has been decided. I promise you that.
There's a good reason to believe a lot of players were doing it, so why is it just Magglio? How do you know there weren't players on that 2005 Sox team that were juicing? We all know that the 2004 Red Sox were......

Obviously and I guess I don't know for sure, but nobody on that 05' team had really gaudy numbers. I only bring up the Maggs thing because my friend and I were talking the other day, and after looking at his statistics declining, I guess a light came on.
We co-manage a Fantasy Baseball team and noticed that someone dumped Magglio and were just looking at his numbers and recalling what a dominant player he used to be. The 0 RBI's thing was just kind of surprising/funny. The Sox play over the last couple weeks has not been funny tho, so you got me there.
Hey, the Tigers have sucked ever since they beat your Sox......lol.
well at least you can admit it. the cubs fans around here can never admit when their team sucks, and "certain" tiger fans on here blame the weather and everything on why the tigers havent been better so far.
Lol....no one else to blame but the players and the coaches. Last night, Leyland left in Scherzer too long and let him blow the game, and our baserunning was terrible. Then tonight, Porcello is outstanding....but surprise! The bats are asleep! This is what's happened every year no matter what kind of team we have, and if it doesn't change I, a strong Jim Leyland supporter for a long time, will want the Tigers to go in a new direction. Something isn't working.
typical frustration for the sox tonight. Alex Rios up in the fith with two men on and no outs and again in the 7th with the bases loaded and no out and doesnt do shit. then in the 9th he comes up with one out and nobody on base and hits his 1st homer (yes 1st) homer of the year. really?
My woman was just at some fukkin metting for the school township counselors or whatever and she won a raffle jawn and got an autographed Ryan Howard baseball! \m/
