Fantasy rankings don't mean shit George. The only reason his fantasy rankings are higher is because pitchers get alot of points for strikeouts, that doesn't necessarily mean he is the better pitcher. If you go by fantasy ranking then that means that Troy Tulowitzki is the 3rd best player in all of baseball.
CF, before you put your 2cents in , why dont you go back and read our conversation. We talked about Hamles being a WS MVP and NLCS MVP and his great playoff numbers, and Facfuck didnt want to hear that. Then we talked about other peoples opinions on Hamles and he said I was fucking nuts if I thought Hamles was better than Hudson and he said no way in hell any fantasy BB expert would say that, what did i find? more than one that put Hamels wayyyyyyyyyyyyy ahead of Hudson. Hudson had a good year last year, that shit aiunt happening again, Hammels has been consisten through his 6 year career and will continue to be. and it's not like we're talking about Hamels being 2 spots ahead of Hudson, he was 30 fucking spots ahead of them. i know rankings dont mean everything, I just posted them to prove a point.
and btw CF since youre so interested, who do you think is better?
Hudson definitely had a better year last year, but Hudson has done it over a longer career. I'm just saying fantasy stats don't mean shit. Javier Vazquez has been a very very high fantasy pitcher over the years, but does that mean his a superior pitcher than guys like Hudson, Buehrle, and even other older pitchers like Zito, Brad Radke, Greg Maddux? Hell no. I'm just saying that fantasy stats aren't really that significant
Hamels has done alot more in his career then just fantasy stats though <_>
Did you watch the 2008 playoff run? he was fucking phenomenal!!! he performs well under pressure, he's a proven ace and led his team to a championship while he was an ace.... and he aint no rookie... this is his 7th season, he's been consistent over a long period of time and being only in MLB half the time as hudson has achieved more then him. He might have good fantasy numbers, but he's also a PROVEN winner.
and you still didnt answer my question? who's better?
If i could have one guy on my team it would probably be Hamels, but Hudson has resurrected his career in a big way, so I would wait and see what he does in the next year or two.
Hamels had an average year and still put up almost the same numbers
Key word, "Almost", I'm not saying Hamels isn't a good pitcher, he would be a #2 guy on just about every team and the #1 guy on some, but the Braves are not one of them, and Tim Hudson has had a much better career, he has more innings AND a lower ERA, Wins/Losses/Strikeouts are stupid stats to compare which pitcher is better.
Hamels has done alot more in his career then just fantasy stats though <_>

You do realize that was just ONE year, right? Hudson has been an All Star 3 times, Hamels has only once, so by most of your stupid excuses that must mean Hudson is better, or do you want to actually talk TODAY's skills?
Hamels(WS MVP, NLCS MVP, all star, Babe Ruth award) > Hudson (one great year, many avg years) Phillies > Braves
Facefuck, have fun watching us from 2nd place all year while we're on route to our 5th consecutive NL East title :-))
I never said the Phillies weren't gonna win the division, also as you can tell from the 1990's Braves, winning the division doesn't mean shit if you don't win the world series.
Hamels has done alot more in his career then just fantasy stats though <_>

i've been talking today's skills the entire fucking time asshoel, youre just a moron and dont fucking listen. The year he made the allstar team wasnt even the year he fucking won the world series. He strikes everyone out, wins alot of games every year and is very consistent on a yearly basis, doesnt give up alot of runs in that small philly ballpark, he's a great legitiment ace. Hudson has been average and had a few good years 2010 being his best. he's not going to repeat that. stop being an idiot and going over this same argument over and over again. i know fantasy stats aint everything, but 3 different experst from 3 different popular websites has Hamels 20-30 spots ahead of Hudson. what you gotta say about that? Man just drop it yo, Hamels has been WAY more dominte in the past 6 years then Hudson, since Hamels joined the league, and stop pretneding like winning a WS and being the MVP doesnt mean anything, thats why they play the fucking game <_>
now take your dumb braves faggot ass and gochop at air and make some annoying moaning sound with the rest of your atlanta queer fanboys.
Atlanta Braves- best 2nd place team in the league. FUCK THEM.
it was 2 years ago facefuck, it wasnt 10 years ago, it shows that he's a stud and performes well underpressure and is clutch. are you that dumb? and he didnt just win it, he won the goodamn MVP. Why do you also keep ignoring the other shit i bring up? he's been great ever since he joined MLB, and last year he had a "kind of" down year and still came close to matching Hudson in most category's and struck out more. If you dont think Hamels is not a stud, you are a dumbass. but i knew that anyway since youre a braves fan.
George why you always gotta pick fights with people in sports threads lol
go back and read playa... I was tlaking to you about our pitchers and facfuck jumped in and started with me. Once that happenes, I will defend my team (or whatever else it may be) to death.
