I was exxagerating a little, but....I would take Blanton over Volquez. Blanton joined MLB one year before Volquez and has 30 more wins and 400 more strikeouts.
I think Arroyo has proven he is also cluth and has good numbers. He is better than Blanton, but I still might rather have Blanton as a 5th starter just becasue he comes through in the clutch. But I'll give you Arroyo is a good pitcher. WHy isn't he your ace?
and the rest are just beginners. noway to tell yet how they are gonna fair at the MLB level.

What about Losses, and ERA?
Wins are a pointless stat when comparing pitchers.

They are at the same ERA and Blanton has 8 more losses then EV.
Hamles in a WS and NLCS MVP <_> ...GTFO Failure [-(
Are you rally that fucking retarded? Tim Hudson is a better pitcher than Joe Blanton and Cole Hamels, he's just as good as Oswalt.
dood? do you even follow any other team besides the Braves <_> obviously not. Hamels is better than Oswalt. He's a fuckin WS MVP. we would not have won that series without Hamlels he was lights out. He has almost 1000 strikeouts in 5 years FaceFuck. Hamles is beast. yooz just a hater =;
So you won't agree cueto is better than Blanton? I forget how many wins he had last year but it should have been damn near 20 because Cordero blew 5 games that would have been wins for cueto.
Arroyo helped Boston win a world series. Travis wood is something special we will see where he goes
Mike leake is good probably a good 5 starter.
Volquez is diassapoint if he every gets this early jitter stuff worked out people are fucked
You tryin to be a hero fool? You wanna see badass mother fucker?! I'll show ya a badass!!!
Cueto is injured, I didnt even look at him when I was looking at your active roster. He has alot of K's, but his average ERA is the same as Blanton and his wins/loses percentage is at 500. but I will agree he is talented and would look good in a Phillies uniform. I can say he's better at striking guys aout, but overall, I think they are about even.
I didnt add relief pitchers in my statement, I only though we were talking about starters. It's hard to compare a closer to starter, but I think your closer is alot better than ours right now. not in 2008. Lidge was 42-42 in 2008, that's perfect, hopefully he has a bounceback year!
I agree with Arroyo, and the others its too early to tell, but your team is definately on the right path!!
Lol I'm gonna post this in caps cause you obviously don't get it, SAYING THAT HAMELS IS BETTER BECAUSE OF SOMETHING HE DID 2 YEARS AGO IS FUCKING RETARDED, I'M TALKING ABOUT TODAY, RIGHT NOW, NOT LAST YEAR, NOT THE YEAR BEFORE, RIGHT NOW, TIM HUDSON IS A BETTER PITCHER THAN COLE HAMELS.
not true. I think they are about even cause they are both currently 0-0 with 0.00 ERA right now
but seriously in all caps for no reason HAMELS IS BETTER. HIS NUMBERS IN 5 YEARS ARE BETTER THAN HUDSONS NUMBERS IN THE PAST 5 YEARS, AND THE 5 YEARS BEFORE THAT.
Hamels is a legit ace on any staff. Hudson isn't. the only reason Hamels isn't the ace is becasue we have Halladay and Lee, 2 cy young winners. Hamels would be the ace for the Braves if he were traded there, no doubtr in my mind. ape you wanna talk about being a fanboy? FaceFuck is it. He can't even admit Hamels is better then Hudson <_>
FaceFuck... just go look at any fantasy baseball rankings, Hamels has to be at least 20-30 spots ahead of him easy, I bet in everyone of them Hamels is in the top 20 and Hudson is not. do some research man, Hamles is by far the better pitcher...

There is no way they would put Hamels ahead of Lowe, Hudson, Hanson and Jurrjens, and besides Hamels has only been around since 2006. - Tim Hudson 2010 stats -
Wins - 17 Losses - 9 ERA - 2.83 Innings - 228.2 SO - 139 WHIP - 1.150 2010 All Star Placed 4th in the NL Cy Young award voting. - Cole Hamels 2010 stats - Wins - 12 Losses - 11 ERA - 3.06 Innings - 208.2 SO - 211 WHIP - 1.179
- The only thing Hamels has over Hudson is strikeouts, and I'm starting to think yoose be trollin lol

I never said Blanton was great, I said he was solid. and my statement about Hamels stands. I only speak the truth. >:/
