I've learned that liking Whitechapel is like likeing Dallas...Everybody loves to hate them..

Except at this point there really is no valid reason to back them up. It is deathcore afterall. But I still like it and cant wait for the new album.

I haven't been listening to metal long enough to have listened to a Blaze Bayley Iron Maiden. I didn't like either of their albums they made with him, but they weren't detestable. I can't find something that I enjoy about Whitechapel, and it confuses me why they are so popular.

I won't offer more on their first two albums, but I think that deathcore is bad because they rely on breakdowns, thus using them too much. I enjoy a nice breakdown every now and then, but they aren't ever the reason why I go "whoa" whenever I hear a band. I think they took a meh part of metal and overused it just to try to be heavy.
