Superman, I'd say. I read the Doomsday comic in fifth grade. Their were cults formed around the return of superman, and there were three Superman impersonators (one turned out to be an evil cyborg alien who destroyed Star City and built his city on top)
But anyways, after he was "killed," Superman was brought to his Fortress of Solitude, and eventually came back to achieve triumphant victory forever.
Goku has "died" at least 3 times. brought back every time. and at the end of the dragonball GT series he ascends to a god and protector of the UNIVERSE, not just earth, like that little baby back bitch superman.
