To those who have played both. Which do you like better, Last of Us or Bioshock: Infinite?
Please no spoilers for either.
Last of Us.
I really felt like I had no connection with the characters in Infinite like I did with Last of Us. Like I really never cared what happened to any of the characters in Infinite.
I dunno. Me and my brother really enjoyed it. If you like indie games and games with twisted humor and social commentary, then you should like it.
yeah, i watched some gameplay around the time it came out n it seems like the type of game to play while watching tv. Was kinda interested since its from the World of Goo people but the 15 bucks they were askin was too much. $4.50 sounds a lot better.
Aight, now The Last Of Us is getting addicting. Minor setting/level spoilers follow: (Nothing story related at all.)
- The section in Pittsburgh where the elevator breaks and then you're all alone without Ellie in the pitch black dark on the bottom floors had me shitting fucking bricks. I got to it at like 4:30 A.M. Last night and I was tensed up the whole time waiting for shit to pop off, nothing ever showed up, then the only 4 that are down there suddenly popped up, and I fucking lost my shit. At first I didn't see it anywhere, then I heard it crying, I'm like "Oh shit." Looking everywhere for it, then it suddenly pops out of nowhere, and it's face was all fucked up, so I thought it was a Clicker, I screamed "WHAT THE FUCK IS THAAAAAT?!?!?!?" Then 3 more popped up and all of a sudden 4 of these motherfuckers are chasing me. They went down like Runners doe, so I think they were Runners that were on the verge of turning into Clickers.
- I don't know why everyone complains about Clickers so much. They ain't that bad. There was a section in Bill's Town where you're going through backyards and there was like 6 of 'em in a single area, I didn't kill a single one. Just crept around all of 'em. The fact that they can't see means you just gotta be patient and walk extremely slow. They only suck when there's 3 or more mixed in wit Runners, since the Runners scream and rush you the second they see you. I save most of my shivs for the shiv doors for supplies. In tight situations when Clickers rushed me, a single shotgun blast blows those motherfuckers up.
- Fuck Bloaters. The first one in the high school gym took me a long ass time. The only thing that really kills 'em is fire, so I finally figured out to run into the supply closet, make 2 molotovs ASAP Rocky, then just bomb his ass wit those.
- It really hit me how fucking fantastic the sound is in a couple situations. One of the main ones being early in the game, I think Chapter 3, where you're outside and it's pouring rain, and when you go into the empty trailer of a truck, the sound of the rain suddenly changes, it's muffled and it sounds like it would while you're in a car. And then how when someone's talking and you're walking around while they talk, the farther you walk, the more distant their voice sounds, and if you walk into a different room, their voice becomes muffled. Of course, this is all really basic shit in the long run, but this is the first game I've seen that actually did it. Expect developers to take notes and make this a staple in games.
Yeah, that hotel when it was pitch black had to be one of the most intense moments of gaming for me. (Was playing in the basement with the lights off and surround sound)

This game seems awesome.
They changed the price back early.
