Ours (on Kauai) was $248 for 4 days but that was unlimited mileage and a free tank of gas and free GPS and full insurance cover. Insurance for us costs about $20-$30 per day whereas you guys prob get it for Free
248 for 4 days sounds excellent in Hawaii, because isnt everything a lot more expensive there? And no, we dont get insurance for free.... however typically your normal auto insurance plan covers you for rentals too... Just need to double check with the insurance company.
Aloha. Just got back 2 Waikiki after spending last 4 nites in Kauai. Back in NZ on 2 June. Spending last 3 nights in Waikiki at Embassy Suites at USD $300 per night close to the beach. On the 19th floor with view of Diamond Head from our room.Beautiful! Fuck me. We are pissed. They have a managers reception (complimentary drinks) from 5:30-7:30pm each night by the pool. We thought "oh yeah this will be naff...two cheap beers or nasty wine each etc but we'll go for a look". Buggar me I had 4 free margaritas & a tequila sunrise & Nicky was drinking Mai tais and something else fucknose what for free. We flicked the barmen a few bucks as a tip each time we got a drink and each time the drinks got more potent. Jesus this is dangerous. Free breakfast included tomorrow too. All right....I'm cut
Yeah, All Embassy suites do that. I stayed in an embassy suites for almost an entire year, and I blame them for my alcoholism.
300 a night though is crazy expensive! I've never heard of a embassy suites charging so much. They are nice hotels and all, but more practical than fancy.

I watched Psyco last night. Sometimes older films like that, really have awesome musical effects. Psyco is probably one of the best. The music was fantastic.

Stuff in Hawaii is probably slightly more expensive than in mainland USA but still cheap to us. And yes I didn't quite mean that you guys have free rental car insurance, I just meant that if you had a car insured at home, the covers transfer across to a rental
^^^Correct.^^^ I've been tricked once in my life to buy extra car insurance for a rental. Never again cuz my regular car insurance covers rentals.
Note to others reading this - It's important to verify with your insurance company that your coverage does indeed extend to rentals. Not all value priced auto insurance packages offer this protection. Most do, but verify first.
oh what am i saying. Most of you kids arent old enough to get a rental car anyways )
