I don't know if this has been mentioned anywhere on the forum, but it still grinds my gears that Adam left Three Days Grace. They're playing a show about a half hour away from me in a city called Saginaw, and one of my Christmas presents was that my parents will buy me one ticket up to $60. I was planning on using it for the show, but now that he's gone, I don't think I'll be going to this one
You guys might not like them, but for being a radio rock band, TDG is one of the best in my opinion. They're sentimental to me.
And I was listening to a few re-recorded songs with the My Darkest Days singer in place, and I gotta say, I'm not really digging them that much at all. Since Adam isn't the singer, it's not the same band, really. I've seen MDD live twice, and I won't deny that he sounds good live, because he does, but it's not the same at all.
It's really disheartening to me that I'll never catch a real Three Days Grace show. Six years ago, when I was in 8th grade, they were doing a show in the same town at the same venue. Money was really hard for me to get at the time, so you gotta understand, it was a BIG deal to me that I had spent all that money on a ticket (plus one for whoever was driving me). Then I messed up a couple days before the show and couldn't go.
The night before it was announced that Adam was leaving, I was literally telling my buddy about how excited I was to finish what I started 6 years ago.

I know you're feeling down Will, but you gotta find the silver lining in the situation. Now you can use that free concert ticket for a good show.
Yeah I already got that one figured out. I know it'll pay off either way, I mean, a free show is a free show. There's already at least ten shows I wanna catch this year already.
