    I've lost 3 lbs since the new year just by cutting out cokes. Going to start eating better (as much as possible since I'm on a college campus with a meal plan that limits my options) and exercising next week. :-bd

    I did it once before when I was younger...for almost a year. Whenever I would drink it after I'd been without it, I didn't want it....it was just gross. I let myself get back into it because sometimes it's more convenient or the "better option" when several restaurants have funky tasting water. I've been doing good...I've only drank two since before New Years, and I got those accidentally from ordering out of habit. The worst part has been the caffeine withdrawals. I just felt like complete shit for the first week. I'm fine now though. I do coffee for my caffeine when I absolutely can't take it anymore/

    This quarter I am taking Digital Image Processing and part of our grade involves doing a independent project on something that is relevant to the class subject. He has to approve whatever topic you do. I just sent the following email to my professor:

    Professor,

    I would like to do my DIP project on detection of image manipulation using statistical intrinsic fingerprints. Enclosed is an IEEE journal detailing some methods for detection of image manipulation. My plan is to study this topic in more detail, as well as research other potential methods for detection of image manipulation. I plan to write MATLAB code that will check for image manipulation against popular well known Photoshop photos as well as some I make on my own.

    I have chosen to take this route for several reasons. First, this is a topic that actually interests me, and is something I have no current knowledge of. Secondly I often times receive crazy photos from the internet claiming to be real, and I would personally like a program for telling people their picture is fake. Finally my ideal goal for this project is to convert my MATLAB into a website, add Google Adsense to the website, get the website popular with a site like reddit or facebook, and then sit back and allow the website to fill my bank account. Filling my bank account is in line with my interests.

    idk... laziness I guess. Just seems like everything new metalwise I listen to these days just sucks, so I was in no hurry to listen to this debut album. my bad \m/

    that would be awesome. And worse case, even if it doesnt get popular and make me money, at least I have a new way of calling people on their bullshit. If that isnt progress, I dont know what is :)
