my grandmother has had sever lung problems for the better part of a decade now. she had been on a breathing machine, but she rolled her scooter on the line and it cut her oxygen off which nearly suffocated her to death. she's been in the hospital since before thanksgiving now. yesterday, she took a turn for the worse and is pretty much on life support now
my grandfather has asked the family to come to a consensus on whether or not to keep her plugged in because he can't do it himself. he shouldn't anyways. he's 80 and forgets half of what goes on now. we have to have a pow wow about it over dinner tonight. i'm not looking forward to it.
postpartum depression. it happens a lot in women. they have babies and get severely depressed afterward. it's pretty tough to deal with. there would be days where everything was going perfectly fine and the kids would be happy and great, but she would be crying on the couch all day
I had it after alannah, so I really hope not to this time. So far so good.. just dealing with a super jealous 3 yr old and an easily frustrated boyfriend

I mean no disrespect, but you should tell him to let her go. Sometimes it really bothers me that we go through such great means to keep people alive. I mean if you need breathing machines and scooters to get around, how much are you even really living. Sometimes peoples time comes...
yeah dude, It is scary. You conscience ceases to exist and you are nothing more than a memory in your loved ones head. Nothing about dying is fun. It sucks.

i had postpartum depression after the birth of my 3rd daughter. I would just cry all day long for no particular reason, my doctor put me on birthcontrol pills to help to level out the hormomes and it helped out immensely.

Until the cost of keeping her alive is more than I could bear, I'd keep her plugged in.
