Yo Erik, totally off topic, but what you think of the new(est) Earl track?
Haven't heard basically any new Music this year save for a few albums. I been sleeping like a motherfucker.
That's a shame. When you get time to check it out, do. It's like, 3 minutes long. Production wise it's the best thing he's been on, and it's a more mature than EARL.
Also, believe it or not, I try and be helpful at the gym already, fat or not. One kid was squatting, and at the bottom of the squat, was completely on his toes, and had no weight on his heels, they were completely off the ground, and having dealt wit knee injuries due to my past incorrect squat form, I didn't want him to do the same, 'cause I don't wanna see any athlete suffer an injury, I know how much it blows, especially when your sport is such a huge part of your life. Even athletes I hate wit a passion, like LeBron James, I wouldn't wish an injury on. Luckily, none of my injuries have been major, and the longest I been laid off was 2 weeks, and even at that, it was just no arm training for 2 weeks, I trained everything else no problem.
Anyways, he was squatting wit terrible form, and I walked up to him, and was like "Yo, it's not really my business, but I noticed your squat form is really bad, you're lifting your heels completely off the ground and putting all the weight on your toes, when the weight is supposed to be on your heels, you should stay flat footed. That's a blown out or tore knee waiting to happen. I just got over a knee injury from bad squat form, I'd hate to see the same happen to you.", and he was like "Oh, thanks, I didn't even really notice it. Maybe you could show me a few correct reps?", and I did just that, and he appreciated it and asked me a few times during his set to check his form. But then you'll get salty ass motherfuckers that won't listen. There was a stubborn fatfuck just last week Deadlifting 2 plates, and his form was making my spine snap just watching him, he didn't bend at the knees at all, and arched his back all the way over like the fucking McDonald's logo. He was literally just bending all the way down at the hips, back completely arched, and carelessly lifting the bar, doing it fast as shit too, wit absolutely no control. So, I walked up to him, and was like "Yo, your form is making MY back hurt man, you should be bending at the knees and keeping your chest up so that your back curves inward and can't arch. You're completely arching over and not bending your knees at all. I don't say this to hate, but that's an injury waiting to happen, you're gonna destroy your back, especially at the weight you're lifting.". And he immediately got snappy and was like "What? You saying I don't know how to do it? Mind your own fucking business, I been doing it like this forever and I'm fine.", all I said was "Fine, enjoy being laid off from the gym for 6 months when you receive your inevitable injury.", and walked away. The motherfuckers that truly want it will listen.
I was doing bench today This young foreign dude came in He had the towel on his head and a full blown beard If he'd had a pack on his back I full expected him to scream Al Akbar and detonate himself Anyway He does some push ups on the floor then loads 2 x 20kg plates onto the benxh press bar next to me (60kg in total = 132lbs) and then struggles like fuck to get the bar halfway down and back up He repped it about 5 x going halfway down and up I shoulda gone over to him and told him to strip the bar down and start with the basics but I was worried if I did, that he'd take me to meet my maker
So i was asked to try out for this local band, they're sorta Cult Of Luna/Neurosis like, i think it would be cool, but i finally got my band going and the EP is about halfway done, not sure what I'm gonna do.
Got my cracked front tooth bonded, shit looks nice. I'm thinking of letting my lip ring hole close. I constantly subconsciously chew on it, and she said that I've cracked, chipped, and damaged 5 of my front teeth. They're all fixable, but I don't wanna cause any further damage. Nice teeth are more important to me than a lip ring.
