I honestly hate team projects at school. In the end, I'm the one who has to pull everyone's weight. I'd rather do it alone.
Amen. And even if the other team members do their work, then there's added pressure for you to do your work fast and well.
Or they do a very shitty job band you have to go back and edit it. And I'm the one taking initiative about it. I don't understand what the college's purpose is of continuing to require group work.
The purpose is to get you used to the real world, because that's how it goes in the workforce as well, unfortunately.
I understand that, but I'm pretty sure many kids have complained to teachers or the dean about how their group projects sucks and they have to do all the work. So they must know that it's an epic fail. And at least in the real world, you have better chances working with responsible people.
If you're doing group projects in college, you're likely going to have to collaborate with others in the workplace, as Maggie says. It's best to figure out how to deal with it in college, as opposed to the real world, when your job depends on your group being successful.

I suppose you're right, but at the same time it sucks you always get the same result.

My friends are silly drunks. None of them fight, unless pillows are involved, then I run.
Go on......
There's not much really to go on about. I've just been attacked multiple times from different friends while they were drunk and I was sober. It was kinda scary actually.
I feel absolutely exhausted right now and I don't have any reason to. Sure, I had a marching band concert today, but we were just standing there in a hot room. Not physically or mentally demanding. I just don't feel like doing anything.
