i think the people who chose not to vote just are way too lazy to actually see which candidate stands for what issue like really, how about you actually take the time to figure out how you want your future to be
your vote 100 percent matters btw... you dont think politicians look at the demographic of voters? more young voters means they will have to pay attention to more younger interests.. since they know old people vote more often then they are going to pander to them.. yeah your vote might not determine who the next president is but it sure as shit helps change the mindset of the politician in determining who he is going to represent (aka the people who vote)
Yeah I used to be one of those people that said if you don't vote don't complain but I'm beyond tired with the same old song and dance from our government and the candidates. Nothing is going to change until this two party system is gone. All they are worried about is bitching and moaning about who is right and who is wrong and how can I get more money out of this.
You tryin to be a hero fool? You wanna see badass mother fucker?! I'll show ya a badass!!!

and the best way to change the two party system? do nothing. yeah thatll go far
I'd rather people not vote, than make uneducated votes.
i mean of course i agree but at this point id rather just young people go out and vote even if theyre dumbasses, at least that will scare the politicians into actually thinking progressively

Personally I am disillusioned by the apparent scam of the whole system. I believe the election is completely rigged such that there is no possible outcome that doesn't result in the system winning. I can either continue being stupid and pretending that my vote matters, or I can just not participate in their little spectacle they do every 4 years to give the *illusion* on change. Get that? The *Illusion* that we have more freedom then the people in Iraq had when they voted in Saddam Hussein in with a 100% approval record. The illusion is a lie. And the people are too stupid and too easily manipulated to know any different....
I'll probably go through the motions and vote in some sort of sick dissonance that I can't seem to shake. If I vote I'll vote for Gary Johnson....
TLDR - I relate to those who don't vote and there is nothing wrong with that.

Let me play devils advocate: What about the people who do read up on the issues, facts and know Obama and Romney inside and out yet still dislike each and dont feel each is right for their future? Should they just vote anyways for something they dont like?
If i go to a bar wanting a beer and Im told they only have bud light or miller lite but i wanted better quality.. Should i lower my standards and take it for the sake of beer or should i continue to seek what i want and find a place to give my money (vote) to?

You don't have to vote for either. Just vote for somebody dammit.
Why you are you getting mad Nola? I will still vote just not for either. You need to worry yourself with the dipshits that jump on board one of the two sides instead of me.
