im in support of cutting NASA as well doe, we need to put people back to work and get our country stabilized..not playing on mars.. if we had a stable secure economy and everyone was able to get affordable medical attention and we greatly improved our education system..then yea i would love to dump money into NASA and other exploration programs but you need to have priorites as a country... military should be at the bottom of those priorites.. im amazed people still think the poor fighting the rich mans battles in other countries is the way to go...simply laughable and ignorant

My support of NASA is very contradictory to my political beliefs, however I feel the NASA is the single greatest entity that will advance our technology and society. Normally I believe that private companies will more efficiently solve these problems then the gov, however I dont believe the profit is there for any private company to get to where NASA is today. There are little to no financial returns for space missions, however the knowledge gained for society is invaluable. NASA could literally be humanities greatest chance for avoiding a global killer and human extinction.
Believe me, i support NASA and i understand what your saying but i think individual families being able to afford to live and have some type of mental comfort in life exceeds technological advances at the moment

no offence but when has anyone ever tried to invade america? if your military funding was cut in half you'd still have the best funded military. yes china may have more soldiers but china would have to get said soldiers across the ocean before they can try to invade america. not to mention America owes so much money to china that it wouldnt be in their best interest to invade America.
