My wife wrote a book and had it published, and I was very impressed with her. She only sold like 50 copies though... and the royalties from a book sale are pretty low... I think she made about 3-5 dollars depending on how someone bought her 20 dollar book. It's weird, she regrets even writing it now because it never sold well, however I personally am very impressed with anyone who take the time and dedication to write a novel.

I have the dedication and willpower to write a completely self produced album, and that's gonna take at least a good 5+ years, 'cause I still need so much practice with production, that will include teaching myself Piano, chords, scales, etc., this is a long term project that'll take even more dedication than a book, but it's something I wanna do, so, it'll get done. Don't fucking say I don't have motivation.
C: My jaw is literally floored from your last statement. You are a fucking moron. Yea, anyone can make a shitty album. Anyone can also make a shitty book, it's not rocket science. And saying they're not even comparable is beyond full retard.

I could literally write and record an album in 2 hours, and alternatively I could spend 5 years writing an album as well. It is subjective to the listener if the music is garbage. And I agree that more often then not, if more time is spent on the product then it will be better. I personally wouldnt shit on peoples work that they spent a significant amount of time on. In your particular case it is different because you dont know how to take constructive criticism, and because of that you open yourself up to mockery. Additionally your fun to troll since you set yourself up so perfectly to be trolled.

All I was saying is that the minimum time required to write a book is an order of magnitude greater then the minimum time required to write an album. Because of this order of magnitude, writing a book is a much clearer representation of dedication then it is for an album. Anyways, you have no room to stand now when people shit on your music.
