  the guy passed for 5 thousand yards in his third year...with out a running game...his year was over shadowed because so many QB's had record breaking years....and it was his first full year...the guy is a stud...your just jealous

  Can someone explain what financial obligation the Colts have to Manning? He signed a 6 year deal, spent the 1st year on IR, and has 5 remaining years. What are the financial obligations to releasing him? And Why would they want to release him as opposed to trying to trade him for someone?
