I had my 10 team work league draft last night... It was an autodraft but you could prerank players if you know what you are doing and don't fuck it up. THe drafting position was automatic when the autodraft happened. Anyways... I had a system for preranking... Since there was 10 teams I copied the top 100 over and then would move players I really wanted up 10 places in the rankings and move guys I didnt really want down a couple. Anyways... log in today and lol the draft couldnt have gone better!!! The number one pick in the league??? Aaron Rogers! lololololol #2? Tom Brady!!! lololololol. anyways here is my autodraft team!
Michael Vick (Phi - QB) Calvin Johnson (Det - WR) DeSean Jackson (Phi - WR) Chad Ochocinco (NE - WR) Adrian Peterson (Min - RB) Frank Gore (SF - RB) Vernon Davis (SF - TE) Chicago (DEF)
---bench--- Jahvid Best (Det - RB) Santonio Holmes (NYJ - WR) Steve Smith (Car - WR) Joe Flacco (Bal - QB) Dustin Keller (NYJ - TE) San Diego (DEF)
Anyways... Im not crazy about my bench, There is no way my starting lineup could be better if I was picking it myself. Sure I wanted Antanio Gates at TE, however he went in the third round! lolol. The bench gives me the room to pick up the breakout stars this year.

My picks actually went
Peterson Vick Calvin Johnson Gore DeSean Jackson
Gore had a really high prerank for some reason.... Like in the 50's! So I moved him down to the 40th pick and got him!
But yeah... that league fucked up. people should have just gone with the standard ranking because they didnt know what they were doing. lol. I should win it soundly...
I am considering replacing Ocho with Holmes... but I see Ocho having more reward/risk. why do think I should replace?

Im not all that excited that I drafted DeSean Jackson.... It is almost like i doubled down on vick. I should have diversified my investments, however when I look at the draft results, it was the correct choice in the 5th round. It is just unfortunate that I had to double down on vick like that.
It also depends on what kind of League you are in. In one of my leagues QB's are more valuable then RB's, so Rodgers would be the right pick. Not to mention RB's are losing their value yearly due to RB by committee happening more and more and RB's durability getting less and less every year.
so no... they fucked up! someone like Vick in this league is going to trounce the other QB's. and there is no way Peterson or Foster should have been taken after rogers/brady.
I am okay with Rogers being the 3rd pick after those two RB's, but you could have got brady in the 3rd round! he was preranked in the 40's!

with this scoring it, QB's usually out score RB's/WR's but not by much. a RB has a fantastic game and he gets 30 something points. and QB has a fantastic game he gets 30 something points. with the bonus for WR/RB it almost levels the playing field.

Obama, you better not interrupt the damn game tonight. You wont see another 4 years in the White House if you do >: (
lol. he wouldnt do that... he watches the games too.
I remember during mnf in his election year... they asked both obama and mccain "if there was one thing you could change in sports, what would it be?"
and mccain said "well we need to double up the effort on the war of drugs and get drugs out of our sports! drugs are so harmful blah blah blah blah for 5 fucking minutes blah blah boring fucking politician that has no touch on reality"
and obama said "Easy. Get rid of the BCS and get a college playoff system."
I was like "greatest fucking answer ever. and so refreshing that he didnt have to turn it into some fucking politics message". I didnt vote for obama, but that answer made me want too.
This may be the first week of the regular season, but it has the feel of a Super Bowl week for the NFL. One of the reasons is that we will unite with the rest of the nation on Sunday to reflect on the anniversary of 9/11 and honor the spirit of America. All of us in the NFL appreciate your patience and understanding through what was a most unusual and challenging off-season. Now we are ready to enjoy what the NFL is all about -- great players, great fans, intense competition, the performance and passion surrounding America's most popular game. Thanks to the hard work of our players, club owners, teams, and staff, the NFL's pledge to deliver great football to our fans has been strengthened and is more secure than ever. We start the regular season and the race to Super Bowl XLVI with tremendous anticipation and momentum. We want you most of all to sit back and enjoy it – in our stadiums, on television, and wherever else you connect with the NFL. Football fans enjoying football is what we love. Be assured, however, that we believe in better. Players, owners, coaches, team and league staff – working together -- will be putting our collective foot on the accelerator. We have more work to do to improve our league and game on a variety of fronts. We will do that by continuing to focus on the quality of the game and innovation. And we will do it relentlessly. On behalf of everyone in the NFL, thank you for your incredible support, and thank you especially for sharing your views with us. Please keep it coming. We value your opinion because it helps make us better. The passion of our fans and communities is what makes the NFL so special. Thank you again. Let's get it started.

I'm telling you right now though, replace Ochocinco with Santonio Holmes.
I'm assuming it went...
Peterson
Vick
Gore
Johnson
Jackson
If so, that is a league that you should win handily, even if Vick regresses.
Peterson
Vick
Calvin Johnson
Gore
DeSean Jackson

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayum! Looks like Manning is out for awhile.
QB - 50 yard/pt, 6pts/td, -2 pts/int-fum - NO BONUS
RB/WR 10 yards/pt, 6 pts/td, -2 fum, +6 pts/100 yards
so no... they fucked up! someone like Vick in this league is going to trounce the other QB's. and there is no way Peterson or Foster should have been taken after rogers/brady.

But yeah Obama HATES BCS so much and wants a playoff system right now. He has been so close on laying the smackdown on the NCAA for it but hasn't.
