What I don’t get is why he hates on it so vehemently. What has GTA ever done to you lmao jus don’t play the shit. I hate the Soulsbourne games and the gaming trends that they started in every game elsewhere and think they’re the most criminally overrated bullshit in all of gaming, but I simply do not play them. And even then I gave Elden Ring a fair chance because I like open world and thought it might be different. But you’re not gonna see me throwing a tantrum every time someone gives them flowers.

There wasnt any real gameplay shown. It was entirely cinematic/walky talky parts. It looks exactly like every other AAA game with a plasticy photo realistic art style. People are acting like its the coming of Jesus, and I legit dont understand.
There was definitely gameplay. They just removed the Hud and used the cinematic camera angle which they are dope at.
Idk how you could doubt Rockstar at this point. RDR2 was on the last console generation, hasn't been upgraded, and still looks better than 99% of games today.
Either way though, you are completely missing the point and didn't even watch the trailer, or didn't watch it closely if you think it looks like some generic AAA game.
There are things in that trailer as far as lighting and details that zero games are currently doing.
The reflections on transparent glass is incredible. Look at some of the screen shots where their sunglasses are completely reflecting the environment around them.
The detail in every small object too. The beer bottles show condensation and carbonation for christ sake. The detail in this game is going to be next level.
Yeah I don’t give a single fuck at all about GTA 6 (either give me more Red Dead or another Bully or LA Noire) but like I can understand the hype. No matter what, it’s gonna be a quality game. Rockstar simply does not put out bad products and they’re one of the only AAA studios that don’t sell you a broken buggy mess. I’m hype for peoples hype for it and I’m sure I’ll end up playing it at some point. Rockstar is basically the Metallica of gaming. Weather you care or not, when they release something it’s basically an event and I can respect that
