One of my Camp LeJeune clients emails me asking about a diagnosis document and if we have received it yet. In the email, his signature lists him as “Col. (client name), USMC” attached to this photo of the marine logo. So I go through his documents to see what we have. I can’t find the medical document he’s mentioning, so I go over the rest of his documents to see what else is missing. I look over his military records and 9/10 of his military file was about his court martial. Over the course of his 8 months in the core, he accumulated 46 reported violations. He didn’t end up with with jail time, but he was dishonorably discharged. He also (obviously) wasn’t a Colonel. Based on his email signature I can’t help but wonder how much he pimps himself out as a “veteran”. His was the second most embarrassing military file I’ve observed.

All I have to do is ask someone an uncomfortable question and they all of a sudden can't hear me lol
