I am working on a game solo right now though. My end goal is basically a first person survival horror game that would be optimized for phones/tablets. It'd basically be a point and click game, but you know how when a point and click game is waiting for you to click your choice, everything just kind of pauses? This game wouldnt do that. Your character would just keep running or whatever. I want the fast pace to encourage quick decisions.
I'm literally only working on the control scheme at the moment, but i want it to take place in like a hotel or something similar. Big enough to host a long story, but the hallways and room design can be pretty uniform.
Its gonna be hard to find an artist willing to put in the work though, considering i want the game to basically be one giant cutscene that you control. There's gonna have to be TONS of different animations.

1. Hook me up when you're done. Horror is my jam. Only point and click horror I've really checked out were flash horror games, and Sanitarium though.
2. "considering i want the game to basically be one giant cutscene that you control." You just set me on a fucking quest to find a game I vaguely remember. I can't remember the name of it and its killing me.
Its old. Was on PS3. Was basically a playable cutscene. Graphics and art style remind me of Shadow of the Colossus.
There was something similar for Sega CD back in the day. It looked like real video (for back then lol, probably looks like dog shit now) Some flying through tunnels type game.
I also remember some western shooter arcade game that played like a point and click movie.
Beat ME3 last night and only got the online trophy left for the platinum.
Don't know why everyone was so salty about the ending, I chose the Destroy option and it wasn't the best ending ever but definitely not as bad as I heard, or even bad at all. Then again I did have the Extended Cut DLC installed so I never got to see the original ending and idk what was added, but still. Amazing fuckin trilogy and 3 was definitely my favorite. Can't wait for Andromeda this year.
There's a laundry list of reasons, but the main issue for me was that the ending was supposed to be the culmination of all 3 games, and your decisions didn't mean jack shit. It just bottlenecks everything into 3 separate choices that by and large give you exactly the same ending with different color schemes. Your decisions make no lasting effect on the Mass Effect world whatsoever.

Picked up Sonic, Sonic 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Sonic CD, Sonic Generations, Sonic Adventure, and Sonic Adventure 2 for less than $20
