I thought we could use a thread to suggest local bands, whether they be from your area, or a local band from a different area that you know of. Here's a few bands that i suggest checking out.
9mm solution - definitely my favorite band out of wisconsin. Ive seen them like 25 times. www.myspace.com/9mmsolution
Lords of Discipline - 2nd favorite band out of wisconsin. More death metal sound than the first band. http://www.myspace.com/lordsofdiscipline
Breech - another one from wisconsin. Ive only seen them live once, and they kicked ass. they do a fucking awesome lamb of god cover. http://www.myspace.com/breechband
Burial Ritual - one of the bigger bands out of wisconsin. Death metal. - www.myspace.com/burialritualband
Rictus Grin - Probably the most successful metal band from wisconsin that is still considered local. they organize a local death metal festival every year in milwaukee. - http://www.myspace.com/rictusgrin
Synapse Defect - Just found this band today. I think theyre pretty good, but ill have to listen to them more before i can completely judge them. Not completely sure of the genre, but their myspace says Death metal/grindcore/black metal. Theyre based out of Atlanta - http://www.myspace.com/synapsedefect2012
