I just found out the local comic book store/store with pokemon cards really only uses their shop space for storage. I guess they sell a ton on TCG, and then their local sales are a nice bonus for them, but it's basically just a warehouse.

They have an entire wing of what was one a mall here in the town I live in lol.

To a certain extent, yes. I’ve more been collecting characters. I’m about to start making videos for YouTube about an alien outpost on the dark side of the moon. I have the core characters, a cleaning staff, a hospitality staff, a medical staff, a school staff, an orphanage, a brothel, planetary gods, demigods, Nephilim, aliens, service bots, sentient bots, demons, ghosts, space witches, ex gladiators, intergalactic musicians, bounty hunters, etc. I’ve built up a cache of toys the size of the simpsons’ world. Only a few of them are just for collecting purposes. I’ve been bottom-feeding on eBay and Amazon since about 2019, collecting anything between 5 and 7 inches under $10. I’ve been building some of my own characters as well out of broken figures and build-a-figure pieces. I’m a head short of building a Santa Claus from Mr Hyde and Kingpin pieces. It began as a distraction for me from the boredom of the scamdemic, and now it’s what I daydream about while I toil away merging spreadsheets at work.
