It's different than Pimp a Butterfly. It's more straight up hip hop that goes through different subjects of life.
To add to this - it's crisp, aggressive, and fresh. I really think he is peaking with this album. Go watch and listen to DNA and tell me you don't hear it. I'm not even a big fan of this genre but this album is excellent.
