It isn't an option.
You get pulled over here at a police checkpoint and they ask to breath test you....you gonna do it 
If you refuse I think they have to take you for a blood test 
They had it set up on the harbour bridge so once you were headed in their direction....and you saw them...you were trapped and there was no way to avoid it and turn around 
Didn't bother me...I deliberately stuck to just a couple of drinks as I was driving...and I prefer they keep me.safe by taking drink drivers off the road

Yeah. Police check points are considered unconstitutional here. They still get away with it because a lot of people do not know their rights.

I personally dont talk to any cops period at all times. If i am not being detained i have 0 reason to talk to a police officer and they don't even have a right to ask me any questions.
