My oldest son has just about all the first edition foil cards. He's missing a couple. I told him to sell. He said naaaa
He's a smart guy. I think my collection comes in at about $600-700 so far. If I add all three of my decks jnto the equation I hit a grand. Ask him if he has a first edition Gameboy Advance Blue Eyes. That card alone goes for like $500 in mint condition
Yeah it’s usually not easy to sell an entire collection all together too. from my experience people are always looking for pieces of that collection. Not the whole thing.
>sell shit >spend the money >regret selling your shit >not worth it
I would never and have never sold any. They matter to me. It's just cool knowing I've acquired cards worth almost a grand through trades and good pulls from packs etc. The_Synthabaga said:
Everyone always says their collection is worth thousands. In reality 80% those cards aren't worth more than a few bucks
I was gonna correct that but let him have it. There are literally only two cards in existence that sell for more than $1,000 in that game. Cyber Stein 2003 tournament promo goes for $2,000 which is retarded because he's been banned since forever. Crush Card Virus Ultra Rare Tournament promo goes for $6,000 but that card has been reprinted in Super Rare, Gold Rare and Common like six times in the last few years so that may have gone down. Only reason either one sells for that much is because literally one person owns each card because they won that tournament. I haven't price checked those in a while though so they may have dropped.

Ill check what he has when i get home tomorrow. I know i read an article claiming some of the cards he has are worth quite a bit.
Articles are greatly exaggerated though. Go to a legit site. Amazon is surprisingly good for pricing then accurately. They have relatively the same pricing as most legit Yu-Gi-Oh rarity sites. Dollar or two off sometime but that's nbd.
