Those two stories are so relatable to me. I could see myself in both situations.

I just feel bad for him due to the length of his infatuation for the girl. To love someone for that long, have her know your family and stay at your home, then have her go fuck some weirdo like that has to be devastating. People laugh at friendzoning, but a lot of those dudes really love those girls and would do anything for them. I've never been that way, but I've had friends like that and it's fucking sad to watch girls take advantage of their affections only to slip off and bang some Chad. One of my friends was hung up on this girl from high school until he was in his early 30s. When he finally gave up on her after she married a guy that beat her, his health went to shit. He had a heart attack at 32. He survived, but shits been rough on him.
