Among several other projects I have going on, I started building the subfloor for my basement bathroom. I plan on installing a heated tile floor, which I've never done before.
Yeah the molding in my bathroom was the worst. There's like 15 different angles to work around. My dad helped with that but we kept arguing about which way to cut the wood lol. It looks aight. I'm definitely not a pro by any measurement
a great big wall and in the middle of the wall there will be a yuge beautiful door. people can come THROUGH that door but they have to come here LEGALLY.
Been fucking around with raspberry pi a lot. Made a little emulator that can play NES, Super Nintendo, Sega, Gameboy, etc. I know you can just use emulators on your computer or laptop but its cool having a designated thing for the living room. Got a wireless Super Nintendo controller for it too.
Thinking my next project with the pi might be one of those magic mirrors for my girlfriend. You basically install an LED monitor behind a piece of two way glass and install some programs and you can have your text messages, facebook feed, weather updates, etc pop up on the mirror. I'll post pics when i finish it
Its basically a micro computer. Its a motherboard thats about the size of your hand. They're super cheap (like 30-40 bucks) but its basically 100% open source.
Its not very powerful, but people have made some cool shit using it. Drones, their own cell phones, touch screen radios, etc.
Like here's something pretty cool. They took the emulators i used, but 3D printed a gameboy case, stripped the buttons off an old SNES controller, put them in the new case, then attached a small LED screen and the raspberry pi.
